Community Guidelines (Draft)

These Community Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service and apply to your use of the HandymanNow app (the "App"), operated by HandymanNow.
1. Purpose
These Community Guidelines explain the standards of conduct expected from everyone using HandymanNow.
2. Treat Others with Respect
All users must communicate respectfully. Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, or abusive language are prohibited.
3. Honest Information
Only provide truthful information about yourself, your services, your property, and your job requests. Do not impersonate another person or business.
4. Lawful Use
Do not use the App to arrange illegal activities, request unlawful services, or violate applicable laws or regulations.
5. Professional Conduct
Handymen should arrive on time when reasonably possible, communicate professionally, perform only work they are qualified to perform, and accurately represent their experience.
Customers should provide accurate job descriptions, maintain a safe environment, and treat service providers respectfully.
6. Fraud and Abuse
The following are prohibited: - Fake accounts - Fake job requests - Review manipulation - Identity fraud - Payment fraud - Spam - Attempts to exploit App systems
7. Photos and Content
Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Do not upload illegal, offensive, violent, sexually explicit, or infringing material.
8. Messaging
Use in-app messaging only for legitimate communication related to services. Do not send spam, scams, or repeated unwanted messages.
9. Safety
If you believe a situation presents an immediate danger, leave the area if it is safe to do so and contact local emergency services.
10. Reporting
Users are encouraged to report suspected fraud, abusive conduct, unsafe behavior, or policy violations through the App.
11. Enforcement
HandymanNow may investigate reported violations and may: - Remove content - Issue warnings - Restrict App features - Suspend accounts - Permanently terminate accounts where permitted by applicable law.
12. Appeals
Where available, users may contact support to request review of an enforcement action. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reversal.
13. Updates
These Guidelines may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
